How does Microdermabrasion work?

The skin’s natural barrier, made up of oil and water layers in the stratum corneum, can limit ingredient absorption as it protects the deeper dermis. Sonophoresis helps relax this barrier by temporarily opening intracellular pathways, allowing active ingredients to penetrate more deeply.
